Dionne Webster-Cox

Dionne E. Webster-Cox is a dedicated advocate for social justice and civil rights. As the sole member of Webster Law Office, PLLC, she passionately pursues legal causes to uplift and defend the rights of individuals wronged by a system that often benefits a select few while excluding many.

Attorney Webster-Cox completed her high school education at Cass Technical High School in Detroit in 1987, where she was an active member of the tennis team.

In 1991, she graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in General Studies, focusing primarily on communication courses.

After gaining experience at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Ms. Webster-Cox decided to follow her ambition of becoming a civil rights attorney by enrolling in Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Balancing a full-time job with her studies in a weekend program, she successfully graduated in 2006.

In 2007, she founded Webster Law Office, PLLC. For the first 13 years, her practice primarily involved criminal defense, probate, parental neglect, and personal injury cases. In her 14th year, Attorney Webster-Cox collaborated with other attorneys, shifting her focus into civil rights litigation, personal injury, and auto cases.

As a civil rights attorney, Attorney Webster-Cox leverages her expertise to challenge municipalities and state departments on practices that adversely affect all individuals, particularly those of color, whose rights are often overlooked. She recognizes the long-term traumatic impact that violations of constitutional rights can have on both individuals and the wider community.

Ultimately, Attorney Webster-Cox's goal is to identify pressing issues and minimize their negative effects, while also providing robust representation in business litigation and personal injury contexts.
